Trim tab not aligned with bottom of hull

    I have what I believe are factory installed trim tabs on my boat. The starboard side tab looks fine to me, but the port side tab is not aligned with the bottom of the hull. There's a small overhang off the bottom of the transom. Is this anything to worry about or try to adjust?

    I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. It's a little sloppy but as long as they function properly you will be fine. If it were me, I would fix the port side only because it would bug me.

    You could be right, but I don't think those look factory. Do the switches at the helm look factory?

    After looking at it more I think fixing it would require drilling new holes, so I'm just going to leave it as-is. It does bug me but not enough to re-drill everything.

    The helm switches do look factory to me, but maybe someone used a factory switch pod and hooked up to dealer-installed tabs or something? This is the best picture I have at the moment...
