Does anyone know how to remove the steering wheel hub? I bought a new steering wheel and was surprised to see this when I took the old one off. The new wheel will fit the keyed shaft but this hub won't budge.

Might be a far cry... screw the nut on until the bolt is flush with the nut... use something to pry up, as evenly as possible on the hub. While applying pressure, use a hammer and tap on the bit. See if it will budge. Might have to tap pretty hard... I believe it should come off that way.

    Try a small gear puller.
