Does anybody know anything about Cobalt pontoons? I'm looking at a new 2016 Marker One. 300 HP Yamaha for $65,000. Anybody have any experience with these? 20170803_112317.jpg

I don't have personal experience with them, other than I saw how they were built in Neodesha last year. They strive for the same fit, finish and reliability as the V hull Cobalts. We did get on one last year, and it seemed very well built and luxurious. Hope that helps.

I'm curious if they will continue the Marker One brand going forward. The one on display at our local boat show this spring is the same exact one as the year before. I haven't seen any in the wild up here in MN and we have a TON of them.

I think they're great and $65k for new one seems like a good deal.

Sales guy told me they were just a limited run. And there weren't any plans to continue. Which is a shame they're pretty nice boats.

I agree but it's hard to compete with Premiere, Bennington and others who already own the space. It would be like Premiere coming out with a bow rider... success in one segment doesn't ensure success in another.
