Has anybody installed Captains Call Exhaust on their Cobalt? I have a 2007 272 with the switch on the dash, but the boat does not have OEM Captains Call and I am really wanting to install it, so curious if anybody has any tips, tricks, or general feedback?
I have factory captains call on my 232. It sounds great with my 8.2L Merc but I rarely use it....that's not to discourage you from getting it though. Here's a video that walks through installing aftermarket Corsa exhaust. The guy in the video posts a lot of DIY boating videos.
This guy was kinda scary. Did things on the fly and didn't have things preplanned like the whole battery issue. Had to go to Home Depot in the middle of the project..... Maybe I am overly critical, but I may have done things differently.
Ha! I know that guy from another boating site. Agree, he seems to tackle the job without too much forethought but he knows what he's doing (most of the time). Take the video as a guide for what's involved but approach with better planning.
