As of 5/15/2018, my boat is no longer for sale. We decided to keep it, to nice of a boat not too. I have decided to sell my 2016 Cobalt R5 to get a boat with more range. Lately we have looked at boating trips that we need more than 100 miles of range, so unfortunately the Cobalt has to go. I have listed the boat on boat trader, http://www.boattrader.com/listing/2016-cobalt-r5-103206945 . This add has plenty of pictures but if you want a specific picture and don't see it please ask I will get one for you. Asking $76,500 and willing to tow for free up to 200 miles one way from 29036, longer distances are negotiable. Thanks for your interest, Andy
Thanks. I was just wondering about the asking. According to the dealer cost report, dealers have 30% in the boats and routinely drop 25% at boat shows, which would put a new boat not far off your asking. At least that calculation is applicable to the gateway series boats.
Yesss!!!!!!! BTW, if you ever need to part with the boat temporarily to see what it feels like to not have it, I'd happily keep it busy for you, for as long as you needed
I have my eye on a new 2017 with light equipment (easy fold bimini vs tower) but with a VP 380 and I believe it can be bought for $105,000CAD ($81,000 USD) plus a trailer. I'm not sure if there are many new 2017 R5's for sale in the US, but I expect you are competing against those. I've been on one of these boats (but not on the water), you own a dreamboat - so glad you have decided to keep it.
