Looking for the best place to purchase a mooring cover for my 2014 24SD. Like to find one that has the cut outs for the bimini top. Cobalt cover is WAY too expensive. Thanks for the group
If the Cobalt cover is too expensive, your next best option is to get a quote from a local canvas shop. My 20 year old, factory cover lets too much rain in so I supplement it with a cover from West Marine. The WM cover is falling apart after 2 seasons and I have yet to find an off the shelf cover that actually fits properly.
I also have a 16year old factory cover that was seeping water. I took it home, power washed it, and then when dry put a liberal coating of 303 on it. It made a huge difference in the ability to repel water. When I go to replace my cover eventually, I will likely get one from iBoats, as they have a large selection of covers in different materials (Sharkskin, Sunbrella, etc). If you watch the emails, they will sometimes have a 50% off sales on covers.
I bought the cover for my CM23 at Empire Boat Covers. I have had it for 2 years and I love it. It works really well. In fact, I was so happy with it I bought covers from them for all my patio furniture. https://www.empirecovers.com/ When I was looking, CoverQuest was my 2nd choice. https://www.coverquest.com/boat-cover-search Shawn
