Hi, need a quick answer for trailer fitment. Is a 1987 19BR hull the same as a 1985 CM9 hull.

According to my good friend Andrew McKellar who is a SME on classics, you should be ok.

Both 24° deadrise. I have to imagine the hulls are similar enough. As long as the bow stop is fully adjustable up/down front/back

The bow stop is adjustable front to back. This is the 19BR that used to be on the trailer

I know this is a late response but there is one major difference between the BR19 and the CM9 and that is the location of the engine. That is only important when the boat is on the trailer. With the CM boats (I just sold a CM23) and the engine forward, it does change the center of gravity on the boat and may affect the axle placement for proper weight distribution.

I would get a tongue weight and make sure that it does not exceed 10% of the towed load. I know the axles on my trailer were more than a foot farther forward on my boat that a 23' boat with the more normal placement of the engine in the stern. If there is too much tongue it could hinder control at higher speed.
